Here is Teresa my first of the new Fashion fever dolls! As you can see I paid 9.95euros for her and I just love the packaging and the colours, also the cute slingback shoe and handbag attached to every box.

Hey guys just a little update on whats been happening at Pimp My Barbie.com lately. In March we saw the launch of our forum it’s something I have wanted to add for a long time and so glad I finally added it. You can talk there about doll customization and more….there is even a doll id section. We still need some more members there so make sure you stop by.

I indulged a little and treated myself to some new dollies in March. I am a big Grease fan so I got myself a Frenchy Barbie doll. She is wonderful and I just love her pink hair and everything about her. (pics coming soon)
I also bought 2 of the new Fashion Fever Barbies, well I say new, they are new for here in Spain. The ones with the articulated wrists that I had been waiting for so long. I had to buy Teresa and I also bought Summer. (pics coming soon)

The first of many competitions took place over in the forums, where you had to guess how many dolls I had in total which was lot’s of fun to do. Well done once again to Divinity who won $10!

Doll stands! 30 of them in fact, I bought them from the lovely Sandra over at thedollcafe, aswell as some Alpine Green doll hair from Dollyhair. (more on both of these later)

I can’t believe it! I was just about to write a blog entry when bang! My computer chair decides to collapse, with me sitting on it!

Imagine me, trying to blog on my beloved myspace and then suddenly all I can see is my nicely tiled floor and my feet.

In my defense and above everbody else’s beliefs, I will state that “I was NOT spinning in my chair”.

Of course I had to call in a professional, my boyfriend was otherwise engaged with a Real Madrid football match, so this was my only option:

Well I ask you-
*How many dolls are in my house? (including Disney, barbie, everything) I have a certain amount on display but then I have 3 boxes and 4 carrier bags full.

*That is your only clue though, so now you have to guess and the fun thing is I don’t even know yet, I have to count them all…….

Here are my findings from today at a car boot sale! I haven’t had chance to clean them up yet so please excuse their scruffiness for now lol.

I think the main reason for wanting to recollect all of my dolls from the 80´s is the feeling, nice memories of childhood, when I see them. With Day to Night Barbie, I remember everything about her outfit the way it changed into the fuschia pink outfit from the suede effect style office suit. The briefcase with the credit cards and calculator that Barbie could hold.

The handbag with the glossy pink strap that you could remove. The hat: very Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman!

I would love to buy this doll again but looking on ebay she´s quite expensive…..
